Thank You!

We dedicate this page to the thoughtful people who have raised funds to support our program for grieving children and parents.
You change our lives.

Saturday, September 20th was the first golf tournament organized by the Mount Hope Fire Department. Event organizer, Jeff Salvo, presented Bereaved Families of Ontario-South Central Region Executive Director, Lisa Lesnicki-Young with a cheque for $1305 in support of the no-fee grief support programs for children and parents provided by the organization. We are honoured to be the chosen charity!

The Wood Family presented BFO with a cheque for $1500. The funds were raised in loving memory of Sydney Wood who died suddenly of a brain tumor August 2011. The first fundraiser for the Sydney Wood Purple Butterfly of Hope Foundation was held at the Marquis Gardens in Hamilton.

A video dance party with raffles and a silent auction raised funds for BFO and McMaster Children’s Hospital. The event was attended by over 200 people.
